Day 119: Dare-To-Bare Kitchen
Show off colourful collections of glasses, bowls, mugs and containers in open shelves that are different shapes and sizes. Looks so pretty and sure it will make finding things much easier.

Day 97: 'Remember This' Kitchen
Chalk board kitchen with plenty of space to write notes and lists under the hanging and open shelves. Has a country, Frenchy feel to it that I love.

Day 86: Coloured In Pantry
Great idea to make a pantry more exciting by painting the inside a different, contrasting and bold colour from the outside walls. This one has even used chalk board paint in the same colour to make a note pad on the inside door.

Day 85: Minty Fresh
Country fresh minty green units where the contrasts of the panelled doors and back board and then the bare brick work with the smooth chrome of the fridge, sink and cooker.

Day 81: Cuboid Kitchen
I am in love with these bold teal geometric kitchen tiles that work so well with the smooth lines and curve of the wood and Scandinavian styled cooking accessories. It has a moody, grown up feel that makes you want to cook something that is more like a science experiment than food (no cake baking here!), or maybe thats just me?

Day 17: Kitchen with a Pink Kick
Why not have a pink kitchen and fill it with photos and paintings and fairy lights and other things? If it looks this good.....

Day 6: Compact Kitchen/ Diner
Beautiful compact kitchen that demonstrates how the smallest of spaces can be made interesting, useful and inviting. Great mix of built in seating, cushions, different hanging shades, open shelves and stretching blackboard. I'm ready to downsize!

If you're feeling crafty
Seeing as the weather is seriously hideous, I think a little creative inspiration for some make-it-at-home crafty ideas are needed to give us something to do and keep us entertained! So here are 3 of my favourite simple DIY ideas for rainy days.....
Home made beer bottle glasses: Apparently these aren't too hard to make, all you need is string, nail varnish remover, fire, cold water and some sand paper. Here is a step by step guide. Genius idea for summer parties and you could make a load of different ones from interesting bottles, so long as the labels are printed onto the glass and not on paper!
Fridge magnets: Just reuse empty tins and glue a magnet onto the back. Would look great if you could find some really interesting, vintage looking containers to use.
Dip dyed rainbow wooden spoons: What an amazing idea, and soooo easy to do yourself to jazz up the kitchen draws. And if you didn't want to potentially ruin your fancy ones or the ones you have are metal or plastic, I reckon the cheap and cheerful packs of wooden serving utensils you can get from Ikea for like a £1 would be perfect.

Fridge Loving
We all have one but its amazing how different they can be. We all decorate them in different, very personal ways- with pictures, magnets, recipes, shopping lists, post cards, stickers and everything else.
Whether they're organised, chaotic, collected, turned into a blackboard, uniform, with lots of things or nothing at all, you can actually do quite a lot with a fridge! Who would have thought?? ......

Book Club: 'Creative Walls'
I am really excited that my copy of 'Creative Walls' arrived today! It's a really lovely book giving you ideas on how to display pictures, collectables and others bits and pieces, a guide on how to organise and arrange things.
It has some really unique and clever ideas but just the whole way the book is lain out and the different fonts used make this a gorgeous coffee table book.
Here are some of my favourite ideas from 'Creative Walls'....
