Day 7: Bay Window Bedroom
The bed positioned in this bay window creates a calming, earthy room with neutral curtains and bright throw. Somewhere to curl up with a good book.

Day 6: Compact Kitchen/ Diner
Beautiful compact kitchen that demonstrates how the smallest of spaces can be made interesting, useful and inviting. Great mix of built in seating, cushions, different hanging shades, open shelves and stretching blackboard. I'm ready to downsize!

Day 5: Girly Pink Dining Room
Soft pinks with farmhouse table and light natural wood for a girlie mix of country dining room and modern living. Great way to fill a fire place and am loving the stained ends of the table to bring some contrasting colour to the room.

Day 1: Colourful Aztec Inspired Spare Room
I'm going to start blogging in a slightly different way from usual by keeping it simple and (hopefully) create more of a look book thats easy to scroll through and find ideas for each room and space in a house. The new concept just one beautiful, inspiring space every day.
Starting now....
Day 1: Colourful Aztec Inspired Spare Room
Earthy, natural colours, geometric shapes, thick textured material and white walls with dark natural wood detail to emphasise the colours.

If you're feeling crafty
Seeing as the weather is seriously hideous, I think a little creative inspiration for some make-it-at-home crafty ideas are needed to give us something to do and keep us entertained! So here are 3 of my favourite simple DIY ideas for rainy days.....
Home made beer bottle glasses: Apparently these aren't too hard to make, all you need is string, nail varnish remover, fire, cold water and some sand paper. Here is a step by step guide. Genius idea for summer parties and you could make a load of different ones from interesting bottles, so long as the labels are printed onto the glass and not on paper!
Fridge magnets: Just reuse empty tins and glue a magnet onto the back. Would look great if you could find some really interesting, vintage looking containers to use.
Dip dyed rainbow wooden spoons: What an amazing idea, and soooo easy to do yourself to jazz up the kitchen draws. And if you didn't want to potentially ruin your fancy ones or the ones you have are metal or plastic, I reckon the cheap and cheerful packs of wooden serving utensils you can get from Ikea for like a £1 would be perfect.
